Web Designer - CSS / Photoshop

Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Web Designer with a leading New Media / Design agency based in Middlesbrough.

Role: You will be joining a team of web developers working on some major brand names, designing web sites and liaising with both clients and developers.

Skills: The successful candidate will have extensive working knowledge of using CSS and XHTML, (working to W3C standards) to construct websites.

Practical knowledge of designing sites that focus on usability and design, as well as cross browser compatibility issues is essential.

Advanced Photoshop/Fireworks skills will be required to develop website designs that meet our high standards.

Any flash development experience would be advantageous but not essential.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate good communication skills aswell as providing a strong design portfolio and examples of working web examples.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
